In this ambitious exploration of the curse of the Hope
Diamond, the principal actors appear in both a 16th Century
depiction of the theft of the "sacred" jewel and a 20th
Century chase to obtain it. Grace Darmond is the heroine in
both adventures, George Chesebro the hero, and Harry Carter
the heavy. Boris Karloff, in an early major role as the
serial's villain, plays an ancient priest as well as a
latter-day counterpart.
All 15 chapters of this serial exist complete in silent
form.
The pledge drive for the Squadron DVD of this serial will
