This serial was based on the concluding chapters of the novel The Return of Tarzan and in it Tarzan fights to rescue Jane, who is captive of Rokoff, the spy, and wants the map to the lost city of Opar tattooed on Jane's back. Includes a lot of action with wild animals, particularly lions, who were mistreated on the set and struck back!
