Jim Grant agrees to help the frontier railroad fight against raids and sabotage, but stumbles into a battle between the riders of the Baron, who owns the nearby ranch land, and agents of a second, unknown, leader behind many of the attacks blamed upon the powerful ranger. Churning the waters is a search for a diamond-filled meteor that fell somewhere on the Baron's land.

A great deal of time and effort has been put in making this restoration look and sound as great as possible, because it's a good serial, Jock Mahoney's best, and so rarely seen. Chapters 2 through 15 are studio-quality, mint condition and as excellent in quality as some of the other recent Squadron projects including The Lost Planet and Pirates of the High Seas. Chapter 1 was discovered to have had some warping which has been corrected for as much as possible but the picture still goes in and out of focus sometimes in the first 2/3 of the episode. It may be possible to offer an upgrade for this title but only if another copy of Chapter 1 on film is loaned to the Squadron. Otherwise, you can still now see 14 of 15 chapters in mint condition of this slick and entertaining serial which has never been viewable in anything close to this kind of superb quality before by ordering this Blu-Ray today!
