PROJECTS IN PRODUCTION: HELP MAKE THESE A REALITY
Following are some descriptions of projects which we’d like to see happen, some of which are near-complete and we’d like to see finished and made available as soon as possible. With a little more funding & support we might be able to do so.

VIDEO PROJECTS
OVERLAND BOUND with Leo Maloney
The first sound Western, long thought lost, from 35mm.
Trying to trick Ma (Lydia Knott) and Mary Winters (Allene Ray) into selling their rundown ranch, which will be in the path of a future railroad, Underwood (Charles K.French) hires Keno Creager (Albert Smith) to impersonate Jimmy Winters, not seen by his mother and sister for many years. Lucky Lorimer (Leo Maloney), a horsetrading drifter, and Larry Withers, a waiter (Jack Perrin) in the saloon of Boss Wheeler (William Dyer), discover the plot. Larry reveals he is Jimmy, and they both head for the Winters' ranch. They find Creager already there but Lucky, via a fake murder charge on Jimmy Winters, tricks Creager into denying he is Jimmy.

These projects will be available when completed over the next few weeks or months and is subject to change or be reordered according to availability and condition of original reels or technical issues. Panels will move up or be given order buttons as new projects near completion. The previously announced restorations of THE SPIDER RETURNS and THE IRON CLAW are delayed due to print condition being not-as-reported. We are still awaiting the loan of the print of THE SECRET CODE.

Adapted from the concluding chapters of The Return of Tarzan. This release is the full 10-chapter 1928 serial, the whole deal (not the cut-down feature version released by others which contains only the second half of the serial) and now includes the complete opening chapter prologue and the entire sequence of Jane being attacked by the witch doctor and his man-eating plant! Includes the long-lost Reel 1 of Chapter 1, a prologue which has never before been seen on video.

When Clayton Moore was on hiatus from playing the Lone Ranger on TV in the 1950s he was hired to appear in a number of movie serials shot by Columbia and Republic. SON OF GERONIMO was one of them.
In Arizona, homeland of the Apaches, Porico, the son of Geronimo, sole survivor of a massacre by soldiers, whose tribe is hungry and dissatisfied with white policy wages a war of vengeance on white men. Brave ex-cavalryman Jim Scott and his old pal Tulsa do everything in their power to stop both scavenging crooks and vengeful Indians. New HD transfer from an original print.

Featuring HAL TALIAFERRO and NEVA GERBER
Geoffrey Mentor, a scientist, discovers the "secret of the air" which allows him to broadcast his voice to the entire world and threatens to sabotage all transportation and communication involving electrical energy in the world if countries do not disarm. His daughter Jean gets caught up in a plot by foreign spies to steal Mentor's secret and on their trail is Secret Service man Jack Deering, who tracks and fights the spies and falls in love with Jean. In the middle of all the action is the mysterious Man from Nowhere, who seems to know more than he's saying, and intervenes in times of difficulty.
The entire serial was shot by Ben Wilson as a silent, and audio was dubbed in post-production, much as modern films are made. The serial was, contrary to some reports, completed and released, but in only limited fashion as the proprietary sound system apparently had to travel with the film for exhibition.
This special collection includes the preserved transfer of the existing film reels, an audio drama version of the rest of the story, and a copy of the original script in book/PDF form.

This spunky and entertaining serial which includes GANG BUSTERS-style action and lots of snappy dialogue did not survive complete, and was missing some reels of audio and one or two of picture as well. New techniques are being used to replace, clean up, stabilize, restore and re-create missing content so the serial will feel complete again.
